A haiku series poem

Knotty, saline hair

Returns with signs of the sea

pearly sand, beige foam

The ocean’s essence

And her deep, aquamarine

conjures your portrait

multitudinous,

you are the shore of passion

where truth and joy meet

rolling waves aureate

your sea-salt pink air is my

cathartic wellness

potent as our earth,

the forms you dance are sublime

currents, expressions

replete with moonlight

silvery, silky, moonlight

you exude passion

I would drown in you

to be reborn as something

that is more human

because like the sand

your skin radiates kindness

gentle, but not weak

just as the tides shift

you unveil every corner

of your brilliance

and like the sea shore,

your essence will never fail

to mystify me.
